here is a cool website about the Greek theater. the Greek theater and the Kabuki theater are very different in many ways. first of all, the Greek theater is usually known for their tragedies and comedies which were always performed in outdoor theaters. while the kabuki theater has a rotating stage and has several gadgets like trapdoors and a footbridge that leads through the audience. now with my new knowledge about the Greek theater, i think i would like it way better than Kabuki theater.
this is a nice diagram of the Greek theater also : https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh99YE_5t178FsainvrKUDvcfAKBWRIfjXTTeK8cUy9aimKuXgtCu8P8mpFRdVghbN9gU2tbG1p6fu6qxf5QlusePRrSTkxRajoofB4eVtB7etzCGbpla528y7ylLUXI3BUALCcrT3zX4g/s1600-h/theaterdiagram.jpg

I think the website you found is awesome. I think the gadgets in Kabuki theater make it alot more interesting. I also think that doing a play outdoors would be fun, but I still like Kabuki theater more. I like Kabuki theater better because there it is more musical. I enjoy the singing and acting more than a traditional play.
ReplyDeleteYou are the first person that I know of at this point who picked Kabuki over Greek. I agree with you, I believe it would more entertaining and it would interest others more. The gadgets are an awesome addition, which many other theatre's may not have. So I'd rather much to Kabuki as well.
